Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year, especially when we get a little autumn rain that makes our red, orange, and yellow trees pop!
During October, sunshine, precipitation, wind, or even snow are bound to occur in Lake Chelan. The weather, however, should never make or break your trip! So to help you keep the fun going, we have put together a quick list of top indoor activities to do in the Valley.
With over 30 wineries in the valley, you will have no shortage of places to explore during your stay. Crush, an exceptional season for winemakers, also occurs throughout October. For those unfamiliar, Crush is the term used to describe the harvesting, crushing, and eventually bottling of this year’s crop of grapes. New releases, half-case or full case sales, and events such as the Lake Chelan Crush Festival await!
Experience Washington State’s oldest continually running movie theater! Over 100 years of operation, the Ruby Theatre provides customers with a comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience. The Ruby is also available for rent for private screenings or other events!
Live Music or Trivia
Enjoy live music at Rocky Pond Winery or Even Keel throughout October. Listen to genres ranging from jazz, country, classic rock, or covers of your favorite hits, on Thursday and most Saturday nights!
Besides live music, Stormy Mountain Brewery offers free trivia on Wednesday nights starting at 6:00 pm with questions built for all ages. So bring your friends and family and compete for the chance to win prizes along the way!
Downtown Shops and Dining
Comfortably walk downtown exploring the shops, or stop for a quick bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. Peruse local boutiques, yarn stores, and home decor stores, or catch lunch at a local favorite!
Rain, shine, snow, or wind, the fun never stops at the Lake Chelan Valley! Find your next adventure when you visit this fall.
